Default Strange moment for James in "Getting Up The Rent"

Why was James knocking on the door to get into his own apartment???

Then a little later, Willona just walks in without knocking, and it seemed she put down something like a key on a table as soon as she came in by the front door. You mean to tell me Willona had a key and James didn't? LOL

Well when James left he only took his pool stick. They never really took a key since someone was always home. Unlike me I was a latchkey kid from age 11 till I graduated High School LOL so if I left or lost my key I was stuck outside until 6:30 LOL

I'm talking about closer to the beginning of the show, when James came in from working all night, and sat at the table to eat breakfast,(oatmeal of course) and Flo showed him the eviction notice. Then Willona comes in a little while after him.

considering Florida's behavior in later episodes it is shocking that she didn't make James return the money and they wind up in the street.

yeah, how funny when someone needed to walk in that door it was open for all to walk in. only when it had to deal with some issue did someone knock on that door. and for people who were complaining how bad it was in their area, they sure never asked who it was before they answered it. Also another thing, why is it whenever Thelma, Michael and/or JJ say "I'll get it" (to answer the door) Florida says "No, I got it" when it was much easier for someone who was already close to the door to open it? I swear, I have counted at least five times where she has done that. That may be nit-picking, but it is freakin' annoying to me. Anyone else notice this???????
