However, I was just curious since we have a wide age range of people here, what shows do you identify with your childhood, the years when you "grew up"?

here are the ones I usually think of when I think of being a little kid and the shows I watched when I was growing up

Cosby Show, Family Ties, Diff'rent Strokes, Facts Of Life, Gimme A Break, Fame, Who's The Boss, ALF, Roseanne (well, the really early years, I was in my teens for over half of the run)

All In The Family, Alice, ODAAT, Sanford And Son, Chico And The Man, Maude, Happy Days, Laverne And Shirley, Three's Company, Waltons, Little House On The Praire, Life And Times Of Grizzley Addams, NBC Mystery Movie, Baretta, SWAT, Police Woman, and I could go on and on.

I wish I had been a few years older. I remember my sister watching ODAAT but I was so young then. I didn't "discover" the show until it was on E in the mid-90's, I'd remember coming home from school and watching them. I have faint memories of Happy Days coming on after the noon news here being downstairs with my mom, but I didn't actually pay attention to it until TBS.

oh yes you reminded me of a few others: Baretta, SWAT (I loved that Italian guy) Six Million Dollar Man, Bionic Woman, Starsky & Hutch, Police Story. It was all those cop shows that made me want to be in law enforcement
