Of eps not featured in the marathon I'm dying for....

When Dan is bit by the dog and they have to search for the dog thinking it has rabies.

Dan in the army reserves 3-parter.

Harry and Dan on a sting to get a bribing judge.

2-parter where Harry quits because of a troubled kid and his mom.

Where they lose Mr. Shibatta, the dead Japanese guy.

When they infiltrate a strip club to get Christine away from Roz.

There are some great moments in those episodes. The strip club episode was reminiscent of an episode where, I believe, the gang had to go to Spanky's Slaughterhouse Saloon and get Mac off the stage (he was in pain from knowing how much debt he and Quon Lee were in). The waitress comes up to the table, and Bull says: "I'm so hungry I could eat a horse." Waitress replies: "Potato or rice pilaf?"

Back to the strip club episode....a couple of favorite moments: Dan asks a woman standing at the bar what's so great about the dancer on the stage. She looks at Dan and says: "He's not you." Off camera we then see the stripper remove his thong and the audience gasps. Even Dan sees the guy naked, stands up straight, puts his hand to his head and gives a salute.

The two-parter where Harry quits because of a troubled kid (Michael J. Fox?) is the type of episode, I feel, showcases the worst aspects of the series. It's just too wild and zany and crazy to then come to an abrupt halt and try and get all sentimental on us.

I think the episodes from time to time that were "serious" didn't quite take away from the show totally. I thought it was good to see the vulnerability of the characters from time to time and to see that the job wasn't always a picnic. It was also a good way to showcase the diversity of the actor. For example, in the episode that you mention where Harry tries to help the Blakes, (Michael J. Fox didn't play the boy. It was another actor.) it showed that Harry Anderson was also an excellent dramatic actor. I sometimes think that because John Larroquette's charatcer of Dan Feilding was so "over-th-top" and John was so good, that poor Harry stood in his shadow. I think Harry Anderson was underrated as an actor. I thought he was very diverse for being a novice. People sometimes say that the show could have been done without Harry and I don't agree at all. Don't get me wrong. I love John Larroquette too, but there was one episode out of the show's nine year run where Harry wasn't in it and I personally felt the episode lacked something because it was missing his presence. In any case, the drama every now and then I thought gave the actors something different to play with and showed the audience how talented this bunch of individuals were.

Yeah I always loved when they deviated from the comedy, showed it was real life. Like the Harry and Leon episodes, especially when Leon runs away and Harry sits alone in the darkened courtroom as they pull the cameras up. Great moment. Or Christine when Tony breaks up with her in the courtroom, Mac with "Aint these tears in my eyes tellin you!" We all have our moments of pressure getting to us. Harry and Dan have a great scene during Dan's operation, where we get to see a side of Fielding than just the horndog. I think in that other one---havent seen it in years---that kid throws or kicks Harry's bench and calls him a pig. And that kid was pissed lol.

That strip club moment when he salutes, bwahhaha. Or he goes to hit on a woman and says Hi, I'm Dan, and the woman goes "So's mine!" (crossdresser) hahahha

I may have missed it during the marathon (I did other stuff between episodes), but I need to see the 'Dannie Get Your Gun' story arc, just because I've read about the "Dan-Dan Fielding" scene on the internet many times.

I think they should make a reunion of Night Court about the last show. For example Harry's dream of the last show then wake up and then see what really happen in about 15 years later. for example in "Quote" above this message. (they should make a BETTER Night Court reunion show or a movie at the end. such as a happy ending that will last forever.)

I always thought the cast should reunite to tie up the loose ends left after the series finale. However, after the way they were treated, I don't ever see that happening. They were treated unfairly, and I don't blame them for never wanting to do one. On the other hand, the viewers were the ones who also got the shaft. There was a big mess left and we have to use our imaginations. If you really have ideas on how you would write a reunion, send them to the "Night Court" fan fiction site. Jay is always looking for stories.
