Why in the world would an audience member say "Alriiiight" when the kid runner told Diana's father "this I know, the boss man doesn't live in the projects". It sounded like someone was applauding the fact that a dope dealer has $$$$$ and a "better" life.

Maybe they were agreeing that it was "whitey" who were the real pushers, not the urban kids from the ghetto.

Well, that's obvious, but why the audience member felt to respond "positively" to that fact, doesn't make any sense at all. I sure as hell wouldn't applaud or say "right on" or whatever. I think Brian's answer is a good one.

TV LAND also cut out the part with the audience members laughing when Diana was in the process of shooting drugs at the end of part one. Right after she ties the thing around her arm, the laughter begins, but TV LAND cut that part out. TV LAND barely showed her tying the thing around her arm-lol

I don't remember laughter I remember like a ohhhhhh sound. I did hear them laugh when she slams the chair under the door.
Also TV land cut out the part that Diana and JJ have in the elevator and they cut out some of the Motel talk. |

The laughter comes like 4 seconds after the ohhhhhh, maybe it was because of the way she was shaking that made them laugh |

I guess she was responding to the fact that youngan was telling the truth: If the pusher was as big as they say , do you think that he would live poor and in the projects? Case in point: If you know about DC, his name is Rayful Edmonds. They just did a DVD on him recently. I copped it and it's a pretty good documentary. That youngan became the biggest drug pusher here in DC during the 80's. I remember everything about him. Not only was it him, but his family got busted too, including his own mother. She would speak "Pig Latin" to him when things got hot.
However, I did think it was strange like you said. I used to think of it too. Except I was like, "Damn, that's the same right on woman,

Hey by the way, wasn't that little kid (the drug runner) the same kid who came to the Evans' door when Cleatus wanted to make sure the apt. was clear of FBI?
