I don't remember exactly what he said, but he thought Carney had great comedic timing.

I could see that. The Honeymooners is one of my favorites too. Now that I think about it, the interactions between James and JJ kind of remind me of Jackie Gleason/Art Carney. Not sure why. I guess because JJ kept James exasperated and didn't take life very serious.

I just seen an entertainment show with Chris Rock and he says he loves Good Times. They even showed a snippet of that episode where JJ and his friends were singing and dancing.
