LAS VEGAS - Bo in the Hospital
Helena's Bo Bice made a tearful plea to his fans from his hospital bed. Speaking only to FOX6, the American Idol runner-up talked about everything from his emergency surgery to his future. Bo poured his heart out. Saying he's been through a difficult time. The singer also touched on things he's never shared before, including the new baby he's expecting and the sad realization he wants to reveal to folks in his home town. In a phone interview with FOX6 from his hospital bed, Bice described what sent him into emergency surgery in Las Vegas Friday -- and ultimately off the American Idols live tour for good. "My intestines had overlapped into each other so.... it was a real life threatening situatuion." "If they didn't do surgery, I could die. " "I'm gonna be stuck on bedrest." "It's gonna be real incredible to go home to be there when my son is born" This is the first time bo has spoken publicly of the new son he and his wife are expecting and says for the sake of his son, he believes he has to sell his home in Helena. "I'm gonna have to move somewhere else because i'm being stalked by paparazzi." "But I'm going to be looking into buying a home again in Birmingham." "I don't want anybody to thinking that I'm just up and leaving Birmingham for any reason." Bice says, the fact that -- work on his new c-d is now put on hold -- coupled with not being able to perform for the fans who support him -- brings a gentle rocker to tears. "I just want everybody out there to know, that I thank them for their support." "I'm sorry if I let them down... But if they give me one more chance just one more chance, i'll make it up to them."

He's saying that like its his fault that his intestines were screwed up. I love him.

He feels like he's letting his fans down, but he's not. We all understand. It's not his fault that this happened. Poor guy, I wish him the best.
