Default James' father Henry

I think he was cast perfectly. I think he even looked like like James a little bit. What was his name?

His name was Henry on the show but his real name is Richard Ward.

We think so much alike Brian, ever since I saw this episode the very first time (Whoooo back in the days) I said the same thing to myself. Even last night, my daughter said the actors looked like they could be father and son.

I still think James Father should have been in the Big Move Part 2 for James Funeral. Instead of a 4th season Thanksgiving Episode

Well in the 4th season they got some new big wigs on the staff and they made changes, so that might be the reason why "Henry" wasn't there until the middle of the 4th season. And plus they just weren't thinking.

I agree with you, but it was explained that Henry worked on a ship and travelled frequently.

Yeah, I know it's a sit-com, but the writers goofed here. Who knows why the father didn't appear in the episode. No matter what, he should have been shown. I know the less actors that appear, the less $$$ that has to be paid out, but it would have been a good idea to show Henry appear. And some more family members of both sides of the family.

I absolutely agree. Maybe they wanted to keep the focus on Florida and how she was dealing with his death. *shrugs*

Yeah, but barely. That conversation just made me think abt the fact that the writers must have known they made a mistake in not having Henry appear when James died, because why would they mention James' death??? I see it that when James died, surely Florida and Henry would have had a conversation (on the phone at least) after James died. We of course didn't see that, but we have to assume there was some communication between Flo and Henry.
