Default The difference between season 2 and season 3

It seems like after season 2, there was no more energy from the crowd at all. No more jumping up and down and foot stumping. All of a sudden when season 3 started, the story lines became too serious and It turned from a comedy to a dramedy.-lol There was no longer anything to jump up and down about. I hated the drug abuse ep of season 3. You think the show falling to #17 from #7 in the ratings had something to do with the switch from FUN storylines to DRY storylines?

I agree somewhat with you. But the quality didn't go down until about season 5.

Yeah but the show tried to change too fast, it was supposed to be a process of change, not soon as season 3 start let's have more serious eps. They should have worked their way up to that

You don't think being so poor you have to eat pet food cause that's all you can afford isn't serious?......

You don't think being addicted to gambling SO MUCH, that you gamble away your store, your ring, have thugs out to kill you, having you're arm broken, and stealing from you friends isn't serious?.....

You don't think teenage alcoholism isn't serious?......

You don't think being arrested and thrown in jail for a crime you didn't commit, and just for being black isn't serious?.........

Boy, you must have it made in the shade with your easy life.

Yes they were all serious topics but those episodes didn't have a serious FEEL to them like these episodes in Season 3

J.J's Fiancee Part 2
Florida's Operation
Family Tree
The Breakup
Love in the Ghetto
