Hey, welcome!

Are your Starlost and Lazarus Man complete? Do you have a want list?

Default Starlost and Lazarus

Dear Ms. Walsh;
Alack and woe is me, my Starlost are far from complete. I've only the 2-hour movies made from the Starlost episodes. 5 movies in all, containing 10 episodes.

However, all's not lost, for I've a fair bit of The Lazarus Man. However, no episode list or episode guide seems to exist for this show. www.epguides.com contains nary an episode list, and the results from www.tvtome.com are fragmentary:
http://www.tv.com/the-lazarus-man/sh..._listings.html

Here is what I have of The Lazarus Man:

Pilot TV movie
The Palace Of Dreams
The Conspirator
Burial Site
Cholera Town
The Boy General
The Cattle Drive
The Trial
The Gunfighter
Panorama
The Benefactor

As for my want list, at present I should very much like to get episodes of the original Dean Martin show uncut. But I daresay we shan't see those again. That's at the top of my want list but barring the original Dean Martin Show I should think the 6 eps of The Starlost I've not got are next thing atop my want list. And after that, more episodes of the Ernie Kovacs Show, most of which, sad to say, NBC apparently erased from the videotapes on which that show was recorded. (I rather think that is something they ought not to have done.) And beyond that I don't know. Some older TV movies like A Shadow On the Land from 1968 or The Aquarians from 1971 next, but at this point we exit the realm of mere rarity and begin to verge upon metaphysics.

Is there any slight chance you might have any of those items, or that you might be interested in what I've got of The Lazarus Man? If so, please do be sure to private message me.

Dear D.S.;
The quality of my VR5 is altogether excellent, as I gather they were taken from superbeta tapes. They've no logos or bugs and are quite uncut. Video quality is superb. The quality of Strange Luck is quite good, for these were taped from cable TV at the 2 hr. speed. In both cases these shows use the 2 hr. DVD speed, meaning 2 episodes of an hour's length each per recorded DVD, and of course commercials have been excised in the process of transferring the shows to DVD. If you've a HAVE list, would be so kind as to private message it me? I often do trades or pick up things that aren't on my want list so I've rather given up official fixed want lists. So many fun TV shows, so little time...!
