Why did they constantly make fun of Blanche's weight on the show? They all made her out to be some kind of big cow. She wasn't that bad looking.

My favorite exchange regarding Blanche's weight was between Dorothy and Blanche:

Blanche: "Ninety pounds! I can't remember the last time I weighed ninety pounds. Probably in college..."

Dorothy: "Where did you go to school, Blanche? The University of Jupiter?"
