I just found out this past Saturday, that my uncle passed away unexpectedly.

It's still so unreal that he is gone.

He was only in his early 50's, that's way too young for anyone to die.My realitives are coming in from out of state for the services this week. I'll always miss and love you Uncle David

i know exactly what you mean about being so unexpected, a had a friend who died last may and i still can't get it into my head that she's gone. i remember when i first heard the news that she'd been killed in a car accident the night before, the very first thing that came to my mind was "no she wasn't, maybe she's seriously injured but she's not dead." i thought they must have been talking about someone else.

thank you. I appreciate that. I just found out that the cause of it was a massive heart attack,it's still so unreal that he's gone.

thank you. I feel that his is a place that people should be able to post tiher feelings here ,especially when it comes to a death in the family.

I'm very sorry about your loss. I lost an uncle in 2001 and another in 2004, so I know what you are going through.
