Which did you attend?

And, if you attended both, which did you prefer??

I attended a public school until I started at a private school from 8th to 12th grade. I found it loads better than a public school for a few reasons.

1. My private school had only 8-15 students in a class while the public schools had at least 30.

2. My private school had teachers and staff members that were better at addressing my special needs than those at the public schools.

3. I got to do stuff that I would have never been able to do in a public high school, which was play for the softball team without getting cut (I was on the wrestling team in 6th grade, though), work on the school newspaper and yearbook, and become student body president.

Public elementary school, private middle and high schools, public college.

I do have to say I prefer the learning environment of private schools better, with the exception of the unnecessary rules and restrictions.

I've attended both and my money is on private school. For all the reasons Brian addressed.

I attended public schools and colleges. My children will definitely be going to private school though. My husband and I already discussed that for the reasons Brian already mentioned.

Both and I liked one of the three private schools, better than public school. I didn't care for the other two private schools.

I went to public schools my entire life. I was quite happy to have attended public schools. I never had any desire to go to a private school.
