I liked Alicia Goranson the best. Sarah Chalke was not a good replacement for the first Becky. She didn't fit into the Conner family.

Becky#1 No Doubt..

My problem with Becky#2 was they didn't give her anything to go by. Most episodes, she may make 2 to 3 comments, then the remainder of the episode, you either just see her hanging around Mark or just sitting quietly looking at whoever talks in the room.

You know what irritated me abt the Becky character later on? The fact that her and Mark told her parents that they were going to try to have a baby!!!!! WHAT THE F***?????? I would have raised hell and said: "When the hell are you going to finish school and get started on a career?" "God gave you all those brains for what". Something to that effect would have sounded nice coming out of her parent's mouth. Besides, that was Dan's argument with Roseanne when he found out they got married. He told Roseanne Becky wasn't going to finish school and she would end up pregnant.

I actually liked Sarah Chalke better. I'm not sure why; she just seemed more personable to me. I loved it when, at the end of the first episode featuring Sarah as Becky, the family are sitting around watching an episode of Bewitched. Roseanne says "I can't believe they replaced Darren with another actor who looked completely different from the first Darren!" Then the family starts to argue as to who was better: Darren #1 or Darren #2. Sarah smiles at the end and says "I always liked Darren #2 the best" as everyone stares at her as if she's nuts... classic TV moment...
