Where is the cast of Good Times now and what are they doing? Does anybody know?

I do know that John Amos has done TV and movies, but that's the only cast member I know of.

Esther Rolle died in Los Angeles, California due to complications from diabetes.

Bern Nadette Stanis still does some off broadway plays. She is also a mother to two girls named Cheyenne and Brittany Rose.

John Amos as you know has been a very busy actor. He was a frequent guest on The West Wing, portraying Admiral Percy FitzWallace, chairman of the joint chiefs of staff.

Ja'net Dubois still is in acting. She had a recurring role on The Ways Brothers sitcom, The PJ's and was in the movie Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle.

Johnny Brown (AKA Bookman) still sings in night clubs and acts occasionally. He appeared in a national commercial for Popeye's Chicken and also guest starred in sitcoms such as Martin and Family Matters.

Janet Jackson...well, we all know her success after the show.

Ralph Carter... not much info on him. Rumors are that he is a Gay activist who has HIV...but of course that is UNCONFIRMED.

Jimmie Walker currently tours the country 25-30 weeks a year doing his stand-up comedy, and also performs on late night T.V. and game shows. In his spare time he writes scripts for T.V. and movies. He even has an official website...DYNOMITE

Jimmie Walker tours all over the country. You could probably catch him. His dates are on the web site. I wanted to interview him when he came to my neighboring town, but he said no.

Well his people told me that he refuses to be interviewed about Good Times. He wouldn't even answer questions by email.

That's why I'm surprised he's going to the Good Times reunion. But I guess because thats the entire cast, and he'd look really stupid not being there.

This post belongs under my thread: UNGRATEFUL ACTORS. Wow, what a jerk. I can't believe people when they deny something good. I can understand when they have done something bad, or something embarrassing. But when you deny or not have anything with the very thing that put bread and butter on your table, that is being UNGRATEFUL.

Not bashing anyone else, but I didn't see any of the Maude people in the funeral pictures. Anyone know if they came?
