I just got the book. I started it this afternoon, and so far, so good. Surprisingly, it starts off on a somber note (talking about his mother's mental illness).

The first paragraph is a real attention-grabber!

I saw Alan Alda on the "Today" show plugging this book. It was a wonderful interview and made me really want to read this book. Alan Alda is truly an amazing man.
