I try to be positive, and not focus on the negative, but I just read the list of enemy nominations, and I can't beileive reality shows now get awards, while great shows like "American Dreams" are cancelled. Remember 5-6 years ago, when game shows were really popular, like "Who Wants to be A Millionare", "The Weakest Link", and many others? They didn't get thier own awards category, becuase the people in charge knew it was just a fad. I have nothing against fads. They're fun, guilty pleasures and sometimes a little junky, and in a few years, people move on. Junk like reality should not be honred. I am convinced the emmy comitte has lost its mind.

To make things worse, I tried to set a friends' tivo to record American Dreams, so that whenever NBC decides to air the show, he'll have it, and it didn't show up as a program that could be recorded.

If anyone has any good news regarding "American Dreams" I'll be more than happy to hear it. Really, it doesn't have to be something big like when they're airing the final episode with bonus footage. I'd settle for the titles of any new books in the series. I'd even be happy if some major bench mark in one of the peitions was reached.

Hope I didn't come off as being too negative, becuase I'm really not a negative person.

We should have our own Emmy awards. We could have categories like: Best Female Character, Best Male Character, Best Episode, Best Song, Best Musical Guest, Best Comedic Moment, Best Dramatic Moment, etc.

What does everyone think?
