Default Willona's Wigs & Outfits

Does anyone know if she ever wore the same outfit twice??? She also had so many wigs. Bad wigs I might say. Wigs back then were not very good, or were they that bad just for Willona?

If my memory serves me correctly, then Willona never wore the same thing twice. Wigs were a different story.

Good question. I don't ever think she wore the same thing twice. That's something I might have to go back through and check. I thought she had some good looking wigs for the most part. Especially in "Springtime in the Ghetto", I thought she looked even greater than usual in that. One wig that looked kinda bad was in the episode "Write On, Thelma."

Not to offend, but I had heard that the wigs made for black actresses are horrendous. I seemed to recall Jada Pinkett Smith saying something to the effect that black actresses suffer from badly made wigs. Anyone hear of anything similar?

Back then or now???
Back then I can understand, but now with all the synthetic hair and weaves and stuff, who really wears wigs except for the older actresses.

Well back then of course, but I think Jada was expressing her views on the wigs she had to wear on "Nutty Professor". I sure wish I could remember where I heard her say those comments. I just remember her saying something abt bad wigs for black actresses, she then mentioned the ones she wore in that movie. Now, everytime I watch that movie, I think of what she said and I can't help but look at that wig. LOL

Yea...that wig did look awful...you think they couldve done better especially considering the $$$ they shelled out for costumes, special effects and makeup for Eddie Murphy.

If you ever get the chance to watch the movie "Five on the black hand side" You will get a chance to see Ja'net real hair, ever though it was in cornrolls but at least you could see it for a change. Also in that movie "Larry" Thelma's boyfriend from Goodtimes is in it. There are a lot of actors in that movie that would suprise you when you see them.
