While searching through the Google news, I came upon some new articles about the 2001 disappearance of Marilyn "Niqui" McCown. Here is one of them:
http://www.pal-item.com/apps/pbcs.dl...507230302/1008 For those who are unfamiliar with the case, McCown's disappearance was featured on UM in 2002. She disappeared on July 22, 2001, shortly before she was to be married. So this summer marks the fourth anniversary of her disappearance. One of the things I recall about the case, was that her fiance was being suspicious; when Niqui disappeared, the fiance canceled the upcoming wedding entirely, instead of postponing it. |

http://www.daytondailynews.com/news/...en-559371.html Apparently this happened just last month. Nicqui's car was found in the Dayton, OH apartment complex this man once lived in and he'd been considered a suspect for some time. He was very recently indicted for murdering a prostitute in the early '90s and committed suicide in his Phenix City, AL home a short time thereafter. (What's personally not awesome about this is that I am currently sitting about 10 miles away from Phenix City, and found all of this out TODAY. )
