Default Local Channels this Fall (Sept. 2005)

In addition to coming to TV Land this November, What's Happening!! and What's Happening Now!! will also be coming to a few locals. Right now two locals are airing the show, but much more will come by September:

WCOV Montgomery
WGNT Norfolk
WJZY Charlotte
WRBU St. Louis
WUPV Richmond (already airing it)
ME-TV Chicago (already airing it)

Keep checking back for an updated list.

I doubt a local in NYC will get it. It seems to be more popular in the south. You'll see WHN when WH comes to TV Land, at least for the launch marathon.

Is this due to the weak syndication market (repurchasing older shows), or is it tied in to something that we don't know about?

So wait, What's Happening Now will be a part of the marathon?

As of now, yes. I'm still waiting to hear more, such as if WHN will air actually in the rotation on TVL.

But What's happening Now is a completely Different show so why would it be part of the marathon? I'm confused

It came with the deal. Both shows are usually packaged in reruns together, it is up to the network airing it to show WHN or not. WHN was basically a continuation of WH anyway. It's not like WHN will air more than WH in the marathon.

WHN was a UPDATED Version of What's happening, not a continuation. Just thought I would clarify that Pav.lol You know me
