Did anyone else notice that in the tag sequence for Florida's Gall bladder operation that James suddenly had alot more gray hair than during the rest of the episode?

Yeah, I noticed that in certain eps, he does have more gray than others.

What was the joke he made about Redd Foxx in that episode? I remember it was really funny, and to the receptionist, but can't quite remember it totally.

plus, they had to afford jj's fourteen colored shirts (which did not look too cheap) and thelma and willona's nice stuff
