Even Golden Palace Has Plot Holes

I guess I shouldn't be surprised that I spotted a plot inconsistency in Golden Palace, given how many there were in Golden Girls. This one seemed a bit too obvious.

In the Christmas episode, Chuy says the holiday holds a lot of bad memories for him -- "I got drafted on Christmas, I got divorced on Chirstmas..."

And yet, it was only a few episodes earlier (late October?) that his divorce was finalized! How did the writers overlook that?

Yeah, I caught that. Why don't the actors ever speak up and say to the writers "Excuuuussse me, but, uh...don't you know I didn't get divorced at X-mas you idiots?"

One horrible one was with Blanche's brother Tad. You mean in all of the years that the "girls" knew Blanche, Tad was never mentioned. Not only that, but the "girls" had met all of Blanche's other siblings and THEY didn't mention him either!??
