Default Morgan Freeman or Denzel Washington?

I love both of these versatile actors to death. I going to say Denzel. He's more dramatic, and I've seen and liked more of his movies.

Denzel is the second best actor alive today ( After Tom Hanks ), while I didnt agree with Spike Lee that his Malcolm X was the best pic that year ( Though certainly in the top 5 ), I thought Denzel deserved the best Actor award for his perfomance in that movie

Denzel. I thought he did a really good job in "John Q".

morgan kinda plays the same character in every film-wise old man that gives the younger character advice and stuff and i think denzel has more versatility

I agree...on the other hand, in Morgans defence, there arent many roles for men Freemans age OTHER than as "mentors"

Hands down, Denzel Washington. He deserved the oscar for Malcolm X. When he accepted the Oscar for Training Day, it was more of a slap in the face because he has played better roles then a crooked cop.

I think they are both great actors, but I give the edge to Denzel. He had some fantastic movies like Training Day, John Q, Remember the Titans, Glory, Fallen, Man on Fire and Malcolm X.

I like them both a lot, but Morgan Freeman is better IMO. Somebody somewhere once said he was the greatest actor alive, and I can't really seem to disagree.

I like them both. I've only seen a couple of their films though. Morgan was outstanding in The Shawshank Redemption and Denzel was excellent in Remember the Titans. Both awesome movies too, IMO.
