Amazon titled it improperly, though.
They titled it, Munsters:Complete Second Season (1964). It should properly be titled, The Munsters - The Complete Second Season (1965-66). |

At this time, the Amazon.com sales rank for The Complete First Season, is #3,101.
That's very good considering Amazon has about 70,000 different DVD titles. Plus it's been a full year since it's been released. |

One reviewer on Amazon said that TBS showed the second season in color? Did they? I have a lot of old tapes from TBS and none are in color.

The reviewer was mistaken. All the original episodes were black & white. The movie, "Munster, Go Home was in color. As were the subsequent TV-movies.

That's right! I don't think TBS was colorizing the series, they were showing old copies of Munster Go Home.
The Good Times company DVD edition of MGH, is very poor in qaulity also. It looks very dark and grainy. |

Sure could use a wide-screen re-issue!

I'm still not sure if MGH was shot in wide-screen. The reason for my doubt, is that the AMC TV version is in Fulscreen, the Universal VHS version was in Fulscreen, and the Good Times DVD version was in Fulscreen.
So I really don't think it was shot in wide-screen. |

It's something I have been trying to find out for sure about for a while. I just can't see Universal shelling out the money to make a motion picture, (even of a cancelled television program,) and not make it wide screen.
I don't recall, at the beginning of the GoodTimes DVD, does it say "Formatted to fit this screen" or something like that? If it does, it was wide screen. I did see it in the theater, but just can't remember. BUT I seems like it was wide. I just don't know for sure. I'll keep asking around... My best, Dirt |

I went to universalstudios.com and sent them a question. I asked them if MGH was in Fulscreen or WS and I still have not recieved an answer.

I did the same thing. They mailed me back before, so maybe they will again. Stephen Cox said that it was wide screen, but is going to try and check. At this point, I can't confirm it either way.

I got a vague reply, they told me I had to contact another website and ask for that info. What a load of bull!
