Default Can someone place this pic?

I was reading the synopses from "The Unofficial Gilligan's Island Handbook" by Joey Green checking for errors () in season 3 and he had the following picture of Mary Ann on the "Pass the Vegetables, Please" page.
I'm hoping there's a mistake and it's from another episode.

Why would it be a mistake?

It's actually taken from the season 1 episode "They're Off And Running."

It's from "Pass the Vegetables Please." Whoever did that book could have picked a better picture.

It's hard to tell. The picture is so poor.

When I first saw the picture I remembered a scene from "They're Off And Running" where the Skipper & Gilligan go to Mary Ann to get some of her carrots. So, I popped in the disk from season 1 and I compared the scene with the pic. The outfit she wore matches as well as the plants in the background. I also believe the photo was cropped due to the fact that in the picture above you can barely make out the Skipper's right arm, shirt sleeve and leg in the upper left hand corner of the picture. For those who have the disk handy, pop it in, take a look and see if you agree. The scene take place approx. 15 - 17 minutes into the episode.

On a side note, I wonder why Mary Ann's garden was completely fogotten about when "Pass The Vegetables, Please" was filmed.

An island isn't all sand. If you can get a nice moist soil, you can plant and grow vegatables. Especially on a tropical island, because it's nice and warm for the seeds to grow.

Because it's not in "Pass the Vegetables, Please" and my paranoia for cut episodes raised it's head again.

Thanks caladon. I thought that might be the case but couldn't remember which episode it was from. I'll be digging up "They're Off And Running" and check it out.

Good work caladon. You were exactly right. I didn't even notice the Skipper in the picture and it's definitely from "They're Off And Running". It looks like my paranoia is put at ease once again...for awhile.

Glad to have been of service. BTW, don't think of it as paranoia, just chalk it up to your keen sense of knowing when something doesn't seem right.

caldaon you beat me to it. I haven't been on because I just came back from an out of state wedding yesterday and all this week I have ten hours of band camp everyday. My suggestion to play the Gilligan theme still has not happened yet after three years.
