I remember seeing about 2 episodes when it premiered with John Amos back in 1994...wasn't Archie Bunker's Grandson Joey on 1 show?

I remember John Amos on one of the Morning News programs promoting the show. saying how it was wonderful to put that set together etc.

And it was going to be the bazzaro Archie. A black liberal bigot who has a republican son with a white girlfriend.

I watched one episode and that was enough for me to say. "Nah" Looks like the rest of the country felt the same way as I did.
