I'm writing a Greatest American Hero fic, and in Chapter Six, it turns into a GI crossover in a rather surprising way.
If you know anything about GAH, you know the dude with the red suit is Ralph Hinkley. See the connection? (If you don't, you're no GI fan!) You can read it at http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2520557/1/ The story is a continuation of an episode where one of the two main characters, Bill Maxwell, is in love with a woman who'd been working as an agent for some bad guys, and even though he's about as good-guy as it gets, he bails her out of jail and refuses to testify against her. This character was played by Dixie Carter of "Designing Women" fame. The ep is called "Lilacs, Mr Maxwell." Any way, at the end of Chapter Six, we find the connection to Gilligan's Island. I'd planned on doing a GAH/GI cross any way, and realized Roy Hinkley fit in perfectly with this storyline! Go read it and find out why. A review would be MOST appreciated! I'm not narcing off in the GAH boards what series this is crossing with, and I'm willing to bet a lot of GAH fans don't know who Roy Hinkley is. |

I just read your story. Congratulations, you've created a cross-over story that cleverly connects to totally different series in a smooth and logical manner. In particular, I like how you layed a foundation as to why Ralph decided on the teaching profession. I also like the pairing of his Uncle and Aunt - nice touch. I look forward to reading the rest of the story. Be sure to post as to when it's finished.
