Smile Why Nick at Nite?

Why did Nick-at-Nite totally desert Newhart? I think it's on Sunday at 5:30 am. You can't even consider that Nick-at-Nite! It's too good of a show to be wasted, just like the Wonder Years. Why is the Beverly Hillbillies on at a good time? And why is All in the Family on Nick-at-Nite? It's on TV Land! There are good spots open to good shows--like Newhart and the Wonder Years! I'm glad they brought on a classy show like The Facts of Life and Three's Company. Now, all they need is The Hogan Family, Head of the Class(maybe) and of course, the show which should have been on Nick-at-Nite already......THE COSBY SHOW! That's classic TV. And so is Newhart. It's a rarity that a show last 8 years like The Cosby Show and Newhart. See, you're not alone(this is a shout out to the person who wrote before me!) Newhart deserves a better timeslot or a better network. Even TV Land would treat it better. It's such a waste on Nick-at-Nite!

You said it Titania! You're 100% correct. And you think they would've done a tribute night in memory of Mary Frann--I don't remember seeing one, although there might have been but I doubt it. It was a great show and it's like it's not even on anymore. They have a lot of trash on now. Why is the Beverly Hillbillies on? That belongs on TV Land along with All in the Family!

Sorry if I offended any viewers about The Beverly Hillbillies and All in the Family. That's just what I think. They're good shows but Nick-at-Nite has newer shows on and they don't fit in. Especially the Hillbillies.

Thanks

Your right Madness they never did any kind of tribute for Mary Frann! I dont know what's with the newer shows on N@N. A few years ago they had a promo that "TV now has ratings and Nick at Nite has them too but we've always stood for safe dependable shows" They said that all their shows were G rated. Now, this fall they're getting Three's Company, since when is that G rated? And The Jeffersons and Beverly Hillbillies may be ok to some people but they belong on TV Land. I think part of the problem is nowadays peope are spoiled by the fast pace and poor content of most new shows. They can't appreciate the more subtle humor of Newhart anymore. Which is a shame because they are pushing a true classic off the air.

Thanks--it's good to know I have supporters out there but I like Three's Company so I think it's cool it's coming on. But yes, Jeffersons and Hillbillies should be off. Thanks for agreeing with me! :-)
