“NFL OPENING KICKOFF 2005”

The Rolling Stones will help start up the 2005 NFL season with a performance from Detroit as part of "NFL Opening Kickoff 2005," Thursday, Sept. 8 at 8 p.m ET.

The event will include performances at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass. by Green Day and Santana, as well as Maroon 5 and Kanye West performing in the Los Angeles Coliseum as part of a free concert. Trisha Yearwood will perform the national anthem from Gillette Stadium where the show will be hosted by Freddie Prinze Jr. Complete information and lineup for “NFL Kickoff 2005”

WOW they are pulling out all the stops for this season. I guess the NFL has that kind of influence. The lineup of talent is incredible!
