That's intreasting that they go through 3 years in one season and that they don't go the 9th grade. It's also wierd that Eric grows at a different rate. I thought that each season they would be in a different year getting one year older each time. I guess if I had thought about it I would have realized the time frame wasn't long enough for that.

It's ironic how Cory and Eric start off as 4 years apart. Then they end up 2 years apart, and in the last year Eric ends up 2 years ahead of Cory and skips junior year in college.

And I've never gotten over the fact that Topanga is promised a job with a law firm for after graduationd despite the fact she's a SOPHOMORE and hasn't even been to law school. She must have enormous potential.

I think I've made a mistake.

Season 1:
Cory Matthews (ages 11 - 12) 6th Grade

Season 2:
Cory Matthews (ages 12 - 13) 7th Grade

Season 3:
Cory Matthews (ages 14-15) 9th Grade

Season 4:
Cory Matthews (ages 15-16) 10th Grade

Season 5:
Cory Matthews (ages 17-18) 12th Grade

So it looked like instead of skipping 8th and 9th, he skipped just 8th. And then he skipped 11th. Through the DVDs, I didn't notice them saying what grade they were in. However, in the beginning of the season, Cory was 14. And I know at the end he was 15. When I was 14, I just entered 9th Grade.

I guess it makes a bit more sense without them skipping multiple grades in a row. I guess it's a show and it doesn't need to be realistic.

Oh it's funny how the bullies are in 12th grade for like three years.

I thought they made some comments about the 4th season being their junior year. If nothing else, they're constant SAT studying implies they're juniors. Of course, Topanga's 16th birthday is in the fourth season and that's generally a sophomore event. I'd never thought about that.

Yeah, serious problems.

This is getting really confusing. I've decided not to worry about it. Who really cares how old they are.

It's in Michael Jacobs letter thing he writes in the cover for all the DVD's. At the end of it he pretty much says a season 4 DVD is on the way. And makes the comment about there ages.
