Default It would have been nice to see James Life outside the apartment

Like his job at the Carwash or the Construction Job and there could have been interaction between him and his friends at the job. I think if this was actually included on the show, the Willona character would not have been needed. They could have atleast gave James an a Best Friend while he was on the show.

Yeah, I did want to see more outside the apartment life. Like a ballcourt in the projects. Willlona was needed because every projects had lots of her. At least the projects where I grew up in had them. LOL

Willona just never did anything for me. I think adding's James Job to the Show occassionally would have been a lot better than Willona busting through the door saying something stupid.

It would have also expanded the character of James and gave Amos more screen time, which would have been a plus since he's my favorite character.

Ahhh, but then you know what we would have seen had they shown us James' life outside the apartment. We would have seen that tired ol' green concrete walls that we see in the hospital, the Evans' apt, the courtroom, the induction center... LOL LOL There was that occasion when he was upset with Florida and night school, James did go to the local bar!

I rather see more of James and Willie Washington instead of Willona busting in the door with one of her corny jokes-lol

James and Florida only did something together socially TWO times.

Season 1-They didn;t do anything together outside the APT

Season 2-They went to go to a Movie

Season 3-They went to a cabin for the weekend

Ah, but you must not forget the social "activities" they enjoyed at home!! Remember that episode when Florida was very moody and upset. She advised the women at that group that she gets relations "PLENTY!!!!"

I forget about the anniversary episode and I just watched it on DVD about few wks ago...James watching that woman warm up near the fireplace and just as Florida was coming back after calling the children. Like that mischevious laugh of James..

The scene between Willie Washington and James was great.
