Default Besides Brian Damage and Garfieldkool, how many GT fans on this board also is a fan

of The Jeffersons? Just asking because I was wondering of that Board would be active if TV LAND ever picked it up. So just wondering how many of you like the Jeffersons as much as Good Times? And I only mentioned this show because it's the complete opposite of Good Times

I love The Jeffersons (at least i did so when I was a kid). Not seen the show since the very early 80's. Will be getting season 2 dvd for my birthday in 2 weeks! My first ever jeffersons purchase. If i find i like, i'll buy the rest of the series.

Along with All in the Family, Good times, and Maude I rank the Jeffersons up there as well... George was an equivalent of Archie Bunker ...in the beginning he acted more snobbish but after you see that he never forgot where he came from ..so many good charecters on the show...His Mama was a riot an Florence developed and became such a charecter ..I liked especially in the beginning when Louise would give George good lip service back lol....the one thing I didn't like is when Mike Evans left the role of Lionel and was replaced..the charecter really changed and not for the better to me.... I think Norman Lear missed a great opportunity..imagine coming up with an episode that had Archie , George and James confronting each other ? What a loud show that would have been

I Love The Jeffersons. I love George and his attitude, especially when he says "honkey" every chance he gets. Florence in that episode about Billy Dee Williams is so funny. I love this show.

I really do like The Jeffersons, just bought season 2 and am getting more into the show again. I'd forgotten about a lot of the episodes since the mid 80s when I saw them on reruns.
