Post B/W Episode Rights??

Does anyone know if TV Land still owns the rights to the black and white episodes of My Three Sons? I know a couple of episodes aired during TV Land's fifth anniversary special. I would like to see these again, sometime soon.

They do!? I thought they lost the rights to M3S. I hope they bring it back soon if they have the rights.

Hallmark actually has the rights to all the color episodes, including the episodes from season 11 and 12 that were previously packaged with the first five black-and-white seasons. They were showing episodes from season 12 earlier this summer.

Seeing The Leave It To Beaver Fandemonium This Past weekend It reminded me of The B/W M3S And I thought about the show too. I Hope T.V. Land will bring it back The B/W M3S Were my favorite M3S Episodes of all time
We Could use The B/W M3S Right now Maybe T.V. Land will wake up one day.

I'd love to see the B/W My Three Son Episodes back on TV Land. I just started getting interested in the show when they took the b/w episodes off, and around the same time they took Leave It To Beaver and the Munsters off. I was in a panick! All of my shows, off the air nearly all at once. I am glad that LITB and Munsters are back, but I don't know if M3S will ever come back to TV Land now that Hallmark has the color eps.

After seeing two of the B&W episodes during the 5th Anniversary Special, I really want to see them! What would be cool if they got them is if TV Land put them on at 4 PM or 2:30 PM so the two airings on Hallmark and TV LAnd would be back-to-back!

If only TV Land could have the rights to BOTH THE BLACK-AND-WHITE AND COLOR EPISODES(all seasons), they would make for a great FANDEMONIUM WEEKEND, but, they can't have the COLORED ones, when they're in the rights of HALLMARK

I consider myself lucky because I taped that My Three Sons fandemonium featuring only the black and white episodes. I have about 90 episodes on tape. Thanks TV Land!

Default B/W Episode Rights

Viacom (formerly CBS Films) acquired the rights to the Black and White episodes in the early 1980s. The original distributor was MCA Television. As Viacom owned all the Color episodes, Don Fedderson Productions renegotiated the deal to include the entire inventory of 380 half hour episodes. Paramount Television International now distributes the series (Viacom is Paramount's parent company now) and according to the Paramount Television website they are only handling the Color catalogue. I have it on good authority from Paramount that the Black and White episodes are no longer available and have been withdrawn from domestic syndication. Interestingly, here in Australia, the first four seasons of Black and White episodes (148 of them) are shown on Cable TV in the wee hours of the morning. Looks like you'll all have to move down under!
