I saw that! Canadian weather said Yellowknife was going to be 28 degrees celcius which is HOT!! Especially up your way!

Before we got air conditioning, we sometimes would move our mattress out to the living room and just sleep on the floor with fans going. It must be rough on you since you're not used to it!

I am too! I feel silly since last summer was SO cold, but this humidity with it is just gross. I'm tired of looking like Howard Stern (with the fuzzy hair).

Even though we have air conditioning at my house I still can't sleep in my own bed when it's hot because it's SOOO freakin' HOT in our upstairs- where my bedroom is. No matter if we put the AC at freezing- it's still just always hot up there!

I'm with you there! Course, our Thanksgiving is a month earlier, but yeah, by the end of November thru to EARLY January, I like snow - then it can melt completely as far as I'm concerned. Lousy that it never seems to work out that way tho.

Last year we had a mild winter. We had rain on New Years and it felt like April. It sort of spoiled the Holiday mood. After the Holidays are over though I do look forward to spring.

In the past years we had mijld winters usually it snows by the end of Oct to March, sometimes we get snow in April, but othertimes in Dec we did have rain few years.Today was around 58-65,I live right by the Oceon so it does get brezzy here. Tomarrow it will be sunny, in Fairbanks it get to 90's and in the interior of the state it gets to be about 90-=100 degrees sometimes. In the winter thoguh it gets down to 70-90 below with the wind cbill factor, thats why I like it here so much because summers are cool for the most part. When there's no wind it does get hot 80-87 sometime 90's.,

Upper 80's in Alaska is very unusual... I was noticing how warm and dry it was up there the other day. The only thing on the satellite shots were smoke from the wildfires.

I can't wait for winter, where you pile on blankets and it's still cold.
