Default Lucille Ball - who would you want to play her if there was a movie

If they did ever made a accurate movie about Lucille Ball, who would you want to play the part ? I think CBS did make s movie about her,but thats TV. A theater verson would be much better, more details, about Desi,

and, I Love Lucy, about Viviann Vance and her Tv Husband(Fred).I think it would be more about 'I Love Lucy" kind of be hind the sences of the show, and her life.
In real life Vivian and her TV husband could'nt stand each other in real life.

I really don't see anyone fit to play Lucy and Desi; the storylines are never accurate and the real fans will never be satisfied.
I think the best 'movie' out there that portrays the real Lucy and Desi is 'A Home Movie' made by Lucie Arnaz in the early 90's.

I always thought Debra Messing would be a great Lucy. As for Desi..I'm not really sure.

Adam Rodriguez from CSI Miami and Roswell would work well as Desi. Not so sure about Lucy, Julie Brown would've done a good job before she gained weight.

Not any woman who has played her so far. Gawd...you'd think the casting people had never even heard of Lucille Ball.

Lucie has so many unresolved issues with her mother that I don't think she'd be too excited to portray her anywhere.

Debra Messing. I watched her in movie last night, The Wedding Date, and this thread kept coming to mind. She would be perfect. She's good with physical comedy and is a very funny actress. She's good with dramatic scenes as well.
