The Phantom Of The Opera(movie version)
I thought that this was such a great film!! Filled with wonder and amazement!! Very opulent scenery, and music that will make you hair stand on end!!! Very Beautiful and touching film about a young woman named Christine( played by Emmy Rossum) who is being tutored by a mysrerious creature of darkness, The Phantom( played by Gerard Butler). There is a lot more to it than that obviously, ut just takes a while to explain... It is a great movie and stage musical... i have seen both versions!!! I recommend this movie and the stagae musical to anybody who hasn't seen it!! It is amazing!

i guess im a stage snob...i wasnt that fond of the movie version.
but its a beautiful show, the movies worth it just to get it out there to the non-theater-going crowd, and i did really like gerard butler's performance. |

I liked the version from 1925 with Lon Chaney better.

I thought Phantom of the Opera was fantastic-easily one of the best movies released in 2004. I agree, the scenery was beautiful, as were the costumes, music and actresses.

I loved the movie. I've seen the play numerous times, and nothing beats the stage, but the movie was able to have better special effects than the play.
