Default How Much is Gasoline/Petrol where you live

(Note: Many countries measure gas/petrol in terms of litres/liters rather than gallons (Gallons of gasoline in the US, for example). As a common courtesy, can everyone please say whether they're talking about litres or gallons)

The last time I was anywhere near a gas pump, last Sunday, gasoline was $2.21 per gallon. Today, I passed by a gas station (remember, I live during Summer in rural KY, so I don't do that often), and discovered that the price had jumped all the way to $2.54 per gallon.

What's the cost status of gasoline where you guys are at?

Edit: Bolded my friendly reminder about stating whether it's gallon or liter

It's between $2.30 to $2.50 where I live. It's expected to hit nearly $3/gallon. Geez... that's quite rough!

I just happened to look at the price at a random gas station yesterday and it's $2.59 for regular unleaded. I would like to get my own car, but at times like this when the gas is this expensive I'd rather not. I just drive my parents' cars and help contribute some money for the gas.

2.64 as the highest in most locations, but I've seen 2.69 elsewhere.

$2.74...they're usually around that price. I haven't seen anything lower, but they certainly have been higher. Everytime I drive by the gas station, the numbers keep rising. AH!

We go by litres and for full serve, it's $1.03/l, therefore $3.89/gal and 9.99 cents for self serve so $3.78/gal (Cdn. $; regular unleaded)

I'm buying a bicycle!!
