Kristen Johnson joins ER - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

OK, a real alien isn't invading ER, just someone who played an alien. Kristen Johnston, who won two Emmys for her role as sextra-terrestrial Sally Solomon on 3rd Rock from the Sun, is returning to NBC this fall in a recurring role on ER, TVGuide.com has learned. Johnston will play Eve Peyton, an inscrutable and unflappable nurse manager who's on a mission to whip the department into shape — while mentoring Nurse Sam (Linda Cardellini). She'll first appear on Oct. 6.

Thanks for the post!

I loved her on third Rock, and have been thinking about picking up season 1 now that its on DVD. She was so much fun to watch.

I hope she's half as much fun on ER.

Since Kristen Johnson is known mostly for her comedic role on "Third Rock," I'm sure many of us will be interested to see her in a dramatic role.
