Anyone have any sales figures on how season one is doing currently?

I dont have any figures, but I know a lot about the sales. AS for the Cosby Show, SAles are horrible. Messsage boards at many websites are saying not to buy this release because of cut episodes used on the release, so no one seems to be buying. According to stores, the amount of the sales should be double of what it actually is. The same thing shows for RRoseanne season 1.

Well during it's first week of release, season one was in Amazon's top 100 best selling DVD's but that dropped quickly because of people's complaints about the edited episodes.

Hopefully this will teach Carsey-Warner and UrbanWorks a lesson.

If you're gonna release the very 1st DVD of a classic show known and loved by millions, THAN DO IT RIGHT!!!

Hopefully future releases will do better because Cosby more than deserves better treatment.

A show that was number #1 for five Years has EDITED eps on DVD. Shocking-lol

Both shows sold pretty well I think despite the edited episodes. Nevertheless, season 2 and on for Cosby Show will be unedited episodes. Roseanne hasn't been confirmed yet, but I'd assume those will be unedited, too. Read the blog tomorrow for news on A Different World's releases.

They probably were bought from people who are not on the internet
