Default One word to describe the Series Finale

ODD, i watched this tonight and it was just bizarre. Everyone eating chinese food, David with Becky, Darlene with Mark, and then Roseanne doing some scene alone. It was STUPID

PS:just found out it was another little boy who played DJ in the ep Life and Stuff. I guess it was the first ep

Horrible. They took a good concept and ran it into the ground.

I didn't enjoy the series finale, but I was able to tolerate the concept and possibly the last 10 or so minutes. I think it could've been done a lot more cleanly and possibly understandable. I didn't loathe it, as a lot of viewers did, but it did not fit the series. Heck, the last season really didn't fit into the series. She did though explain the strange episodes; her being on a train fighting the women-hating men was her struggle with real life .. Dan cheating on her was when he died .. the trips she saw people take on TV where there were no problems in the world. I like those concepts, but, again, it was not well done. At all.

It would have been better if they just had Roseanne dream everything & Dan didn't really have heart problems or had a heart attack, & she wakes up to see Darlene&David happily married. From where season 8 left off.

Bold.

I think that the ending to Roseanne was great because it was something that no other sitcom dared to do: shake things up for a big finish. Personally I think that it wasn't that bad, and I understood everything.

The show for me ended at Darlene and David's wedding. Dan had a heart attack and died. I rather have that ending then that awful last season.

the finale...R prays with the family eating pizza on the couch, showing the world her spirituality...
When she explains Dan is dead, that really blew me away...
It was real sad when she gets changed back into sweat clothes and voices over her writing in the basement, too sad
the finale makes me sad, the one word for me is "sad"

Well, B.D. it was not "they", it was definitely "Roseanne" herself. She co-wrote the last ep. I don't buy the sisters and brothers being one with the other. Becky One would have never went to David. Becky Two would just like in the finale but if Lecy Goranson was still on the show, she would not have IMO.

The Roseanne show was a very very good show. It was groundbreaking. It took a nosedive when they won the lottery. It really blew me away with the ending. I guess it was meant to show that things aren't what they appear to be. It was a crazy ending for sure, one that won't be repeated. I didn't like it, on the other hand, it's better than those tired ol' endings we see where it is very predictable what is going to happen.
