Definately Luke. I loved Max (I'm not exactly sure why, I just did) but I don't think there's any chance of him ever coming back.

Lorelai only briefly dated Alex, and then he disappeared. Remember when Lor learned to fish from Luke in "Lorelai out of Water"? I loved that!!!
