There was this case of a guy who was convicted of murdering a woman that he met and spent the night with. They all thought her ex husband's brother did it. One board member said the brother died of ALS. What was the innocent man's name? I can't find his case on the internet. Was he ever released? Also on Imdb I found a final appeal case of a kid name billy who was abducted? Who was the guy claiming is innocence? It's all right if you don't know. It's just the interent doesn't say aything about these cases. Thanks in advance

The first case you're referring to is Rick McCue who was convicted of murdering a woman he had dated that night by the name of Aileen "Lulu" Corsheune. He was eventually granted a second trial and acquitted. Lulu was engaged to a man in prison at the time of her murder and the man's brother name was Russell Healey. Some think he was responsible for her murder and at least one witness claimed he stated that "he took care of her". He was never charged and did later die of Lou Gehrig's disease. I haven't done any internet research this is all things I remember from the segment. I do believe that Kane posted a new article about her fairly recently. You might want to do a search of the forum and see.
As far as the Billy case I can't for the life of me figure out why that story was on "Final Appeal". It said it was Billy Pelletiere and he was the little boy was was abducted by his mother. She had suffered from a serious bout of encephalitis and resulted in her marriage ending and her losing custody. I believe it also left her with some brain damage. There was an update saying she did watch the segment and through her attorney agreed to return Billy to his father and there were no charges filed against her. |
