I think Lifetime should do one with Cosgrove/Meurer and recap and do new reenactments of 8 cases in a 2 hour broadcast(15 min each approx). Interview law enforcement, families, etc and give news on the cases.Probably never happen, but if they had to choose which segments would you like to see?
1) Ives/Henry Case 2) Blair Adams 3) Cindy James 4) Amy Bradley 5) Gordon Page Jr 6) DB Cooper(guess you have to throw a legend case in there) 7) Danny Casalaro 8) Oklahoma Trailer Fire |

They should just bring the show back or a variation of the show. It doesn't matter what channel it's on. It's not the host that made the show it was the very interesting and stimulating stories that made the show. No offense to Robert Stack because he was great.

Everytime this thread comes up it cracks me up. The TV landscape right now is such that UM would have to be turned into a reality show. Detectives from around the country converge on LA to be crowned the best american crime detective.

Yeah, like you said, make them eat bugs. Look at what we have on CBS, Rockstar.............. INXS Big Brother. NBC Fear Factor and whatever other dribble they show. ABC other than Desperate Housewives I don't even know what they have. Fox all "reality" all the time.

Wasn't UM sort of a reality show though? Afterall, viewer participation could affect the outcome of the cases profiled, and they were real cases.
Granted I don't watch the drek that is considered "reality TV" these days, but I think UM was one of the first reality shows. |
