Does anyone remember the episode of the old man who was digging a compost in the back yard and his wife went missing and they ended up finding her remains there? He called his nephew and said he was going to kill himself..does anyone know if they ever caught this guy?

I think this is the case of Joseph Owens. Really a screwball - You would have never picked the guy out as a murderer in your life, just looked like an old eccentric who enjoyed digging in his garden and starting various "home improvement" projects and never finishing them. But yes they found his wife like they said he did. Then Joseph Owens himself after threatning suicide Mr. Owens himself went missing - The brought the "trusty old reliable" dogs in to search for Joe and traced his scent to a park I believe but couldn't find Owens. They assume he fled
A few years later UM broadcasted an update, Owens body found only a few miles away from where the dogs had originally searched. I think It is believed he committed suicide. Later. |

Just proves that yet again, anyone can be a murderer.
