The Munsters watch a lot of TV - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I have noticed that in a lot of episodes somebody in the Munsters references to a TV Show. I have heard them mention Perry Mason, Dobie Gillis, My Three Sons, Leave it to Beaver, Donna Reed Show and a lot more.

In the fall of 1965 The Munsters and Gilligan's Island were back-to-back in primetime. In episode 39 of The Munsters, (the first episode of Season 2), Eddie makes a referance that he wants to live the rest of his life on a desert island. I'm assuming that that was a small referance to Gilligan's Island.
