Default If Chuck had stayed on the show, how would Fonzie and him have gotten along?

I am wondering. If Chuck was never written out after the Christmas episode in Season 2. How do you suppose him and Fonzie would have gotten along. I know that Fonzie sort of took Chuck's place and once Fonzie came on as a full time charachter there really wasn't any place for Chuck anymore. But let's say that even though Fonzie joined the cast full time, Chuck still continued to appear on the show as Richie's older brother. How would him and Fonzie have gotten along, and what kind of relationship do you think they'd have?

Default if chuck had stayed

well its hard to say chuck was such a minimal character i would think he would be treated like the latter day potsie the character never really developed so who can really say.

Well let's just say that a situation HAD to take place involving Fonzie and Chuck. What would all of you have it be?

chuck's biggest relationship on the show seemed to be with his basketball, but if he HAD remained on the show and the writers HAD decided to turn into a full character, I could seem him possibly being the gym teacher or coach at the highscool with the Fonz - of course that was what roger did too....

Chuck just never seemed like the type of character that you wanted more out of him - he was GOOD as a one-dimensional basketball-loving character.

Default there was some talk about bringing him back

when it was announced that ron howard was leaving there was talk about bringing chuck back but gary marshall didn't think it would have been a good idea so they went with the whole roger thing. chuck was a useless character
he had few lines and he never developed into anything.so it was better he vanished.

Wow, I never knew that. That would have been really interesting if Chuck would have came back after a 5 year absence. I wonder what excuse they would give for him being gone for so long? Any ideas?

Simple, he was in the NBA and had a career ending injury...might be fun, he could have made all sorts of references to sports in the 50s ...would have been a LOT better than "Roger" ugh

It would have been really cool to see Chuck come back. Fonzie and him could have started out not getting along at all. Just like they did with Roger.

I think if Chuck had a bigger role he might have hated Fonzie out of jealousy.
