This movie starrs Clint Eastwood & Donna Mills. I forgot the name of the crazy woman that stalks Clint in this movie. She was crazy as hell. I'm glad Clint punched her ass in the face at the end & killed her. He hit her so hard, she went flying out the window over the balcony of the deck & down the hill into the water LOL.

That was a great movie! One of my favourite suspense films and was done at the height of Clint's looks.
The nutjob was Evelyn Draper and was played extremely well by Jessica Walter. I still think of it every time I hear Robert Flack's "First Time I Saw Your Face". |

I saw the woman who played Bill Cosby's mom on The Cosby Show in the movie. She was Clint's house maid. That crazy woman cut her up. I thought she was gonna die but i guess she lived because when the ambulance was carrying her on a stretcher, she told Clint something.

Was that "Cliff's mom"? I'll have to watch more closely the next time its on. That scene made me more angry than anything - she was so nice and innocent. And yeah, I think we were to assume that she'd be o.k. All of them acted VERY well in it. I like Jessica Walter, but by the end of that film you hated her as much as Dave did!! The minute she turned up on his doorstep the next day with groceries I knew he was in big trouble! If a woman ever does that to you - run - run like hell!

I have this movie on tape and enjoy rewatching it. I thought Clint had the perfect voice for a radio Disc Jockey. And the coastal scenery was so beautiful. Evelyn-Jessica W. really had the crazed stalker down pat. Its a
very good movie. |

It does look like a beautiful area. I've never been to California, maybe I'll get
to visit Carmel someday. |
