Cucumber Beetles - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

This is a really dumb question, but I found one of these (they look like green ladybugs) in my salad, and I killed it and all, but I still ate the salad. Are they bad or poisonous or anything? I have to go to work tomorrow...I can't get sick.

Stupid bagged lettuce.
