Default DOROTHY APPEARS (8/9) TOMMORROW.....I think?

According to the way they are airing the eps of Golden Palace, Dorothy makes her first appearance tommorrow. Back in 1992, CBS aired the ep when when Roland's ex Trish comes to visit him on October 23rd then aired the ep with Bea's appearance on October 30th and part two Nov 6th.

Set the VCR folks! Lots of good moments to look foward to.

Dorothy was on tonight. She'll be on tomorrow night too because it was a two part episode. Her "Ameila Earhart" answer towards Rose's question was hilarious.

I thought Dorothy was almost going to cry, but she still threatened Rose in the end during the group hug.

I liked the two part episode. I was sorta sad when it got to the end of the ep when Rose,Blanche & Sophia went back to working & Dorothy saw that they can actually do well without her & she left the hotel...

Rose hitting Dorothy on the head with the newspaper was pure genius!

The writers should have had Rose do that in the last episode of the Golden Girls.

Yeah that was sad. I didn't like how it ended that way. I guess I was expecting another one of those group hugs.

i havent watched the second half yet i tapped it, but looking forward to it. But I saw a post on this thread up above a ways, lol, about the amelia earhart joke on the first half of this two part arc and when I heard it, it was funny, but I remember dorothy saying that in an episode of the Golden Girls as well, i had seen it not to long ago, was that on purpose to reuse the joke or was it recycling good material? Any thoughts.

Sorry, but I just HAD to quote another great Dorothy comeback in this episode....

BLANCHE: Why do you think people call me the female Ted Kennedy?

DOROTHY: Because you look like him.

Default they were both good episodes

after watching this two part episode it is a shame that golden palace only made one season but i think lifetime should run it every now and then because it was a good show.

I know or at least include Golden Palace as Bonus addition to the last season of Golden Girls on DVD.

There was another sarcastic remark that Dorothy made, but Lifetime cut it out. When they were sitting in the kitchen at night, Dorothy says, "We did a little experimenting" (she and Lucas with regard to sex). Rose then says, "Experimenting with what?" Next, Dorothy says sometime sarcastic like, "nitric oxide." I don't remember exactly what it was, but it was funny.

Did Dorothy guest star anymore on the show or just the two part episode?

I noticed how she was just sort of left alone all of a sudden while leaving when everybody needed to tend to their jobs. You know since Dorothy was supposed to be the sensible one she probably thought they couldn't make it without her...and they did. Since it ended that way I guess she has no appearances.
