Default Maude said something negative about my hometown in ep 220

LOL-I was watching ep 220 and Maude told Walter he had a long distance call from Philadelphia, and then Walter asked Maude-"what's going on in Philadelphia? And Maude replied-"since the constitution, NOTHING-lol I was like damm, Philly must have been very boring back in 73

LOL - actually, I remember that I knew about Philly - Liberty Bell - brotherly love...yada yada.....but hadn't really seen any pics until the first Rocky came out.

I guess you can thank Sylvester Stallone for putting it "on the map"!

Did that thing last? Honestly - I hated Tony Randall - totally forgot he even had a show and sure didn't know it was based in Philly.

He doesn't seem like a "Philly Kinda Guy" ya know?

I've answered by PM, but just to keep the flow...he struck me as a bit stuck up and snobbish - liking the opera, classical music - orchestras, Shakespeare and when I think of Philly guys, I guess it would be more of the blue collar image like from Rocky, Will Smith, etc. I know there's all types in all cities tho.
Frankly, for years I was sure Randall was a closet homosexual also - he sure proved that theory wrong.
