Default Half-Related

Half-Related

(this show is somewhat like 'One Tree Hill' in a way)

This show is about two half-brothers who are the same age living under the same roof. Starring Jared Padalecki and Milo Ventimiglia as the half-brothers, Chris Logan (Padalecki) and Jamie Logan (Ventimiglia) who both are 18 year old high school seniors who share the same father, different mothers.

How it all began was with their dad, Mark Logan (John Stamos) who in high school steadily dated Chris's mom-who had gotten pregnant with Chris at the time. Mark's parents gave Chris's mom a blank check trying to "cheer up" a young and pregnant mom after Mark leaves her and Chris, to go and attend college. When at college, Mark has an one-night-stand with a sorority girl, Brenda (Teri Hatcher). Mark and Brenda soon learn due to their one-night-stand, she is pregnant (with Jamie). Mark seems to really like Brenda, enough to propose to her as she accepts. Mark and Brenda get married and soon after getting married, have Jamie. Couple months before Jamie was born, Chris was also born. Yet Chris's mom dies hours after giving birth to Chris, due to loss of blood and high stress levels during delivery. Chris was then raised by his maternal grandparents-until his 15th birthday, when he decided to go live with his long-absent father, Mark (and new stepmom, Brenda, and new half-brother Jamie).

Now, ever since his 15th birthday (3 years later), he is living with Mark, Brenda, and Jamie. Slowly, but surely, Chris and Jamie are becoming to terms with the idea of having another brother from same dad. Jamie feels Chris is intruding on his life and that his dad isn't giving him as much attention as he use to. Chris feels his dad should have married his mom and stuck by her side during the pregnancy, he also feels he deserves some answers from his dad about the decisions he has made.

Now, entering their senior years, Chris and Jamie have grown closer yet not all "chummy-chummy" yet. Chris has found a strong bond and friendship with platonic friend, Dana (Michelle Tractenberg). Jamie and his perky girlfriend of six months, Caitlin (Kaley Cuoco) have grown distant over summer break due to the fact she spent half the summer in France with her mom. Jamie suddenly has his eyes on the gorgeously beautiful new girl in town, Alexx (Olivia Wilde). Chris's best friend (since his childhood), Eric (Jensen Ackles) has recently moved like Chris did, so Chris and Eric catch up about the three-years-apart. Chris introduces Eric to Dana, Jamie, Caitlin, and fellow newbie-Alexx. Secretly, Jamie is jealous of how close Eric and Chris are, and how he longed/longs for a close relatioship with someone like that.

Meanwhile, Mark and Brenda's all-of-a-sudden marriage turned into a big success--or so everyone thinks. Jamie stills is demanding attention from his dad, as Chris is still holding grudges and being hostile towards his dad.

Default EPISODES

Ep1: Pilot Episode (a.k.a. End Of Summer):
The brothers and their friends (Eric, Dana, and Caitlin) wrap up their last summer as kids and look forward to starting their senior year. They met new Alexx and accept her into their group of friends. Unbeknownst to Caitlin and gang, Jamie and Alexx find themselves taking a liking to one another and finding themselves instant attracted to each other in meantime. Meanwhile, Brenda and Mark celebrate their 18th wedding anniversary by going up to a Connecticut Bed And Breakfast.

Ep2: Senior Year Begins:
The gang of (now) six enter their senior years at Chilton High School. Eric and Chris discover that Dana is hiding a secret (her college-aged boyfriend dumped her recently). Dana confesses and is consoled by her friends. Caitlin and newbie Alexx decide to take a heartbroken Dana out for a girls night out. Meanwhile, Jamie comes to terms with his dad "almost neglecting" him and now starting to focus his attention towards Chris-who could rather careless about doing stuff with his dad--which totally aggravates Jamie.

Ep3: Unhappy After All:
Brenda confides in surprisingly supportive Chris that Mark is in denial about their marriage turning sour of late. A vulnerable Brenda is consoled by Chris who begins to hold another grudge towards his dad. Meanwhile, Eric and Dana overhear Alexx on her cell phone talking about how she and Jamie are going out this weekend. Eric takes it upon himself to have a "man-to-man talk" with Jamie about his date with Alexx and how he is betraying Caitlin.

Ep4: Another Sad Birthday:
Chris's family and friends throw Chris an 18th birthday party, yet the guest of honor turns up missing and nowhere to be found. Eric has an idea where his friend is on his birthday. Eric, Jamie, and Mark head to Chris and Eric's hometown, which is where Chris is spending his birthday on his deceased mother's grave. Chris is joined by the 3 guys and is furious that Mark actually showed up to his beloved mom's grave for the first time in all 18 years.
(Chris's birthday is same day as anniversary of his mom's death).

Ep5: The Fall Of Summer:
the gang's highly popular classmate, Summer Burke (Autumn Reeser) becomes the topic of many conversations recently-due to the (actually truthful) rumor about Summer having an affair with her Media Lit teacher, Mr. Tanner (Greg Kinnear). The gang jumps to Summer's defense and denies rumor, until she tells them its the truth. The gang and rest of school are shocked and stunned at Summer's news. Meanwhile, Brenda tells Mark about her talking to Chris about their marriage dilemmas, causing Mark blews up at his wife for discussing such private stuff with his son.

Ep6: Confrontations Aren't Fun:
Chris is confronted by Mark who tells his to keep his mouth shut about what Brenda told him and that she was lying about all that. Chris defends Brenda and stands up to his dad, which doesn't make Mark happy. Also, Jamie and Alexx are caught making out by Caitlin who surprises Jamie who lied to her about why he cancelled their plans of hanging out together. Dana and Eric comfort a devastated Caitlin moments after seeing her boyfriend making out with the new girl.

Ep7: Thought That Counts:
Eric learns he has a secret admirer who now has turned stalker and won't leave him alone. Eric recruits Chris, Dana, and Caitlin to help him escape the unwanted attention from the obsessed flute-playing band geek. Meanwhile, Brenda refuses Mark of anything dealing with sex until the very stubborn Mark admits that their marriage is on the rocks and needs help, and then Mark does the same until she admits their marriage is fine and needs to be left alone as is. In the end, both Mark and Brenda learn how hard it is to deprived not only each other but themselves from sex.

Ep8: Feelings Of Love:
Dana starts to feel attracted to Eric and decides to have Caitlin sneak around to see if Eric shares same feelings for her (meaning Dana). Meanwhile, Jamie and Alexx decide to consumate their new romantic relationship by having sex for the first time with each other. Elsewhere, sexually-deprived Brenda (with a few martinis in her) turns to her of-age stepson, Chris for innocent and private sexually favors. Chris, sex-starved himself, doesn't turn down the suggestion from his rather hot stepmom. Chris and Brenda end up having a full night of sex while Mark is out on a guys-only weekend with his friends.

Ep9: The Logan Family Reunion:
Mark takes himself, Brenda, Chris, and Jamie over to New Jersey for the Logan family reunion. While at the reunion, Mark is reunited with all his cousins and relatives almost abandoning his own family for his extended family. Jamie competes with an uninterested Chris for his extended family's attention about the role of "number one son of Mark's". Also, Brenda and Chris sneak off several times and "release some tension" off and on during the reunion without people noticing.
[{Eric, Caitlin, Alexx, and Dana do not appear at all in this episode}]

Elsewhere, Brenda and her younger visiting sister, Donna (Jenna Elfman) invite Dana, Alexx, and Caitlin over for a girls night in at the Logan home, where the girls enjoy the night of "chick flicks", chocolate fondue, facials, and a few too many apple martinis. It's all fun and games until the next morning, when all their hangovers start to kick in...BIG TIME.

Elsewhere, Alexx deals with her parents's decision about moving back to their old hometown (Detriot). Alexx is anything but thrilled.
((Brenda, Mark, Caitlin, and Jamie do not appear in this episode at all))

Ep17: Losing The Battle In The End:
Alexx must tell Jamie, Chris, Eric, Dana, and Caitlin about her family moving back to Detriot. The gang is heartbroken and will miss Alexx (as vice versa too). Boyfriend Jamie shows little emotion about Alexx's leaving, which upsets Alexx even more yet Caitlin notices his reaction (with a tiny grin on her face). Meanwhile, during a session of marriage counseling, Brenda discovers that Mark had slept with a woman while over in Hong Kong. Brenda is devastated until she rethinks about her affairs with her stepson--which makes Brenda turn to Chris once again.

Ep18: Sexual Healing:
